Location: Wrexham and Whitchurch
Date: 19 August, 2018
Simon Higgins, Chris Reynolds and Colin Hayes tackled the ‘12’ on a tough windy day on the course based around Whitchurch and Wrexham. In the club battle Chris came out on top with an impressive 251miles, Simon finishing a few miles behind with 247. Although Colin was ill during the ride he battled on for hours to complete 192miles before having to retire. If he had finished with anything like a normal performance the LCRC would have totally smashed the team prize. Next year……just don’t tell the riders just yet…..
