Race type: Cyclo-cross
Location: Heaton Park
Date: 14 October, 2018
The usual well-drained Heaton Park venue was challenged by the previous days deluge but seemingly conditions weren’t as bad as they might have been!
A small contigent of Centurians took to the line with child-related illness putting pay to a couple of riders. Efficient ride of the day came from Ian Kendall who was barely away from Liverpool for the time of a medium length road race to travel, finish 35th in the O40s race and get back home! Very well done!
Graham Prentice was in the top 20 of the O50s whilst Dan Yates was 14th in the competitive Youth race, in which Harry Roberts also gave a good account of himself. As usual Ste Stuart finished in the top 40 of the Senior race to finish off Century participation and Adam Owens also rode his first race of the year, allowing him to remeber quite how hard cyclocross can be!
