Race type: Cyclo-cross
Location: Barton Equestrian centre
Date: 22 September, 2018
The Longbridge Rotary event held at Barton equestrian centre was a lesson in efficiency. The course was packed into a couple of small fields and a house barn and provided a new venue for the LCRC racers. It was a tough day was some very sloggy mud for the riders to grind through. Ian Kendall doubled up races as training for the 3-peaks, with a top performance in the O40s race. Graham Prentice continued his good form in the O50s and Mick Loughran made his season debut to renew battle with Pete Leadbetter in the same race.
Graeme Veevers also made a season debut in the senior race and Mike Fugaccia continued with a solid performance in the O40s. Geraint Parry rode 2 laps before quitting with a bad back. Ste Stuart has some bad luck with a rolled tub.
