After the driest summer on record, it was reassuring that the first event of the NWCCA cyclocross season was run off in a downpour that turned the already challenging course into a slick mudfest! Plenty of LCRC members rode the events with Graham Prentice the best of the adult finishes with a 12th place in the O50s race. Niamha Albones was 2nd in the U16 girls event whilst Dan Yates showed great progress with an improved result in the U16 boys. Elsewhere Ian Kendall, Mike Fugaccia, Geraint Parry, Ste Stuart, Pete Leadbeater, Erin Corrigan and Harry Roberts all rode with varying degrees of success!
